Maniago Safaris Ltd is a conservation safari company with its head office in Nairobi, Kenya and operating offices in Tanzania, Rwanda, and Cape Town, which covers most of southern Africa. They believe that a safari should be a meaningful experience. Their ideas are often unconventional, embracing the conservation of wildlife and enriching their clients’ experiences through an understanding of the communities in their areas. The three directors, Annabella Francescon (who is an Honorary Warden in Kenya), Peter Karanja and Daniel Gatumbo, have spent the better part of their lives planning, organising and even leading safaris in east and southern Africa. Conservation is in their hearts and, through their Luigi Footprints Foundation, they have supported and implemented many projects to conserve wildlife, assist the communities they live with and support rangers in wildlife areas. It is this passion that propels them to their highest commitment to what they do.
