At the heart of IMLA lies its Hebrew origin, which translates to Whom God will replenish or Whom God will fill up. Over five generations, a strong and successful culture has been developed specifically for African circumstances, drawing upon the accomplishments of those who came before. Located in Clocolan, Eastern Free State, Imla Guest Farm is where this legacy continues to thrive.
The guest farm is a working farm. Waterfall, part of the IMLA Farm Group, is a modern guest house on Marabeng Mountain. It features a restored sandstone house, offering various accommodation options for single guests, couples, families, and groups. The farm offers dinner, bed and breakfast, and self-catering units. En suite rooms have fireplaces for winter evenings. The farm is an ideal base for exploring Eastern Free State landscapes, offering trails, mountain biking, hiking, horseback rides, fishing, and swimming in the dam.
3 Star Nature Lodge
A grand sandstone house, dating from the late 1800s, has been beautifully restored and expanded into a modern guest house. Rooms have all been uniquely finished. Various accommodation options are available for single guests, couples, families, and groups. Dinner, bed and breakfast, or self-catering, the latter available in one unit. Our en suite rooms boast fire places for red or glühwein winter’s evenings

2 Star Campsite
Imla Guest Farm offers a camp site at Marabeng Mountain, overlooking the Waterfall Farm. Our camping terrain already has tents pitched with mattresses in them. With twenty tents, an ablution facility, hot water, and electricity points, guests can enjoy MTB trails, hiking, fishing, and 4x4 trails. We also have 8 Caravan pitches. Camping, an outdoor recreational activity, became popular in the early 20th century and is used by youth organizations for self-reliance and teamwork. It is also an affordable accommodation option for large open-air events, with organizers often providing basic amenities.
Imla, located in the charming Eastern Free State amidst Sandstone Mountains, provides a plethora of options for an ideal wedding. The lovingly restored sandstone residence from the 1800s exudes an atmosphere of romance and grandeur. The opulent chambers are adorned with pristine white cotton sheets and king-sized beds. Discover adoration for the historic farm chapel. The Honeymoon Suite is an ideal space for the bride to prepare for her special day. Tailor your menu to a diverse array of choices. Each bride is distinct, and we take pride in our personalized service tailored to each couple's unique needs!

At Imla Guest Farm, we offer great hiking & trail running trails as well as awesome MTB trails. We have a few dams on the farm for swimmers, but one specifically for fishing. Carb weighing in at 8.5kg have been caught at our dam. Other activities include farm tours, and bird watching.
We also run school camps, outdoor camps, and leadership camps. We do team-building for companies as well as host family gatherings.
